High precision component measuring instruments can be destroyed by charged capacitors – leading to expensive repairs and unacceptable downtime.
The 1100 Protection Unit is designed for use with the 6430B or 6440B Component Analyzers and provides protection up to 25 Joules of energy.
In the event of an overload a fuse blows and the test equipment remains unharmed.
